Learning Can be Fun!!

We are learning about leaf eaters in our school garden.

 We continue to make progress each day. We enjoyed a wonderful, hands-on, 4-Winds lesson this week. It was so nice to be out in our school garden inspecting leaves for signs of insect life. 
We also learned about Multiple Intelligence. Everyone has areas of strength. The class took a survey to learn more about the things they enjoy. Are you mostly math and logic wise, nature wise, music wise, body wise, people wise, self wise, art wise? Or a combination of them?
Picture Day is on Thursday, September 18th. Even if you do not purchase photos, your child will be given a class photo. Please send in order envelopes. 
Curriculum Night is also the evening of the 18th. I look forward to telling you about our 2nd Grade plans.
