I hope you all had a wonderful extended weekend! It was great to meet with many of you for Parent Teacher Conferences. 

This week we will learn about Fire Safety with the Charlotte Fire Fighters. We will also practice a Bus Safety Drill. On Thursday morning we will visit the Book Fair. Students may come with money for a new book/s if the book is preselected from the book order that was sent home. There are also used books to purchase. They are usually less than a dollar depending on hard or soft cover. Students can usually select several books with just a few dollars. It's wonderful and it helps support our PTO.

Dear Parent/Guardian 
We wanted you to be aware of a wonderful opportunity to help support both the CCS PTO and UVM.   UVM Professor (and CCS parent) Tiffany Hutchins has been working on ways to measure how children (aged 2-11) think and feel about others.   The parents of students (and their siblings) at CCS aged 2-11 are part of a select group that can help provide important feedback to Dr. Hutchins while also supporting the CCS PTO.

For each survey completed and returned, families will receive a $5 gift card per child and the PTO will also receive $5.    The surveys can either be returned to the front office (attn PTO) or returned to UVM in the prepaid envelope.  The PTO will not open or review the survey results.

Please help us to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to support CCS!
