We are having Friday Free Choice/Explore time

We are learning about Whole Body Listening.

We listened to the book, The Colors of Us to learn about our unique skin colors. Then each student drew and colored their own self portrait. 

We are learning about Monarch caterpillars and butterflies.

Our classroom door has watercolored owls.

We are building numbers using popsicle sticks as tally marks.

David needs a lot of behavior reminders. We are giving ideas to David for how to follow expectations and make good choices. 

It was great getting to know all of the students better this week. We will learn so many new things on our first grade journey this year. Thank you for looking through our photos.
