Welcome Back to our blog! Happy Fall. It's starting to look beautiful outside. It was wonderful to see so many of you at our Back to School Night.
During our Social Studies Civics lessons, we are learning about Communities. We are a special learning community.

We are learning how to write complete sentences using a subject and predicate. We are also learning to begin our sentences with capital letters and end them with punctuation marks. 

More students shared their summer memories or something that makes them special.

We are learning about the "Zones of Regulation". We all travel throught the zones each day, but our goal is to mostly be in the green zone where we feel happy, calm, focused and ready to learn. 

We also all tried our "Calm/Peace Corner". This corner is a place to go when you are not in the green zone. A quick break can often help with regulation. 

We participated in Bus Safety with our bus drivers. We discussed how it be safe in and around a bus. We also practiced exiting through the emergency exit.
