As several of my co-workers and my daughter Taylor plunged into the lake today for the Special Olympics, I felt quite satisfied to be cheering for them as a spectator. Brrrrrr! They deserve a lot of credit for their efforts.
This week our class worked as engineers by testing, planning and building bridges that could sustain weight and a hold out during a rainstorm!! Here are a few pics of the process.

This week will be quite busy. We will celebrate the 100th Day on Wednesday and Valentine's Day on Friday. If you would like to send in a healthy treat, a beverage or munchkin donuts for Friday's party, please let me know. It is also "Kindness Week" so we will have an all school assembly on Friday morning and take time each day to incorporate kindness. We will have a 4-Winds lesson as well.
OPEN HOUSE Wednesday, Feb. 17th 7:30 am
PLEASE STOP IN SO YOUR CHILD CAN SHARE THEIR GREAT WORK WITH YOU!! |
