I hope you all enjoyed our spring vacation.
We are excited to have frog eggs in our classroom! Thank you Olivia and Mrs. Santos for setting up the aquarium for us. Henry and Ray have both brought in frog eggs. We are also researching the life cycle of frogs. Researchers take good notes.
Fractions, fractions, fractions!
Math Games - spin and add multi-digit numbers
4-Winds Fun!
Forrest Birds
We recently blogged our poetry and typing it into Word Documents. Students experimented with font design, size, color and location. We've also used the Paint program to create illustrations that go with our poems.
Book Clubs can be so much fun!
On Monday Mrs. Davis' P.E. class came into teach us Tabata. Here is the guide and some students in action from another classroom. Be sure to ask your child about it.
We are collecting Box Tops at school. Please send them in by Friday. Our class might win a grant if we bring in the most. Also, if you are planning to chaperone our field trip across the lake, please contact Jane in the main office to obtain the necessary forms and be added to the approved chaperone list. We currently have only two parents who are up to date with all the new paperwork.
