Math: writing equations with a sum of 10

Our Shelburne Farms trip was the highlight of our week. Students were split into 4 groups: the cheese group, sauce group, toppings group, and dough group. Each group had an important job for making our delicious pizzas. 

We also began Literacy Centers this week. Students rotated through many centers on our work board. Here are photos of students in action at the different centers.

We have lots of exciting work to share with you Monday during Open House. The format is different from Curriculum Nights in the past. I will not be giving a presentation. Students will guide parents around their classroom and different locations throughout our school. I will email Google slides with general classroom information. You may email questions at any time or we can discuss them during our upcoming conference.
