This week we started our Rocks, Sand, and Silt Unit
Students have been closely observing, sorting, and studying different rocks.
An excellent share for our mapping unit
Closely examine your penny. What do you notice? Is it like mine?
Gail Gibbons writes many well known nonfiction books.
We taught Ms. Lubic's class how to log onto a Chromebook. We all have CSSU accounts now. In partnerships we explored Brainpop Jr. to learn more about rocks and mapping.
This week the Voyager classes were part of our Math Studio Day. Ms. Lubic and Mrs. Filardi were the Studio teachers. We co-taught a math lesson to all 33 students. Numerous teachers, Math Interventionists, our Math Coordinator, and our Principal were in to observe the lesson. They were very impressed by the students' engagement, math thinking, and teamwork. We were so proud of them!
Happy November! Have a great week.
