February is Random Acts of Kindness Month. We have been choosing and act out of the jar every day.

 This week we kicked off the PBIS school-wide expectations plan. Students will receive pennies for Taking Care of Themselves, Others and Our School. As the jar fills, we will celebrate. The filled jar will then go into a school collection and eventually be donated to a local non-profit organization.

This week will learn more about writing our own blogs. We will continue to practices counting money and writing it with cent and dollar sign notation. We are on our second week of practicing ou and ow sounds for Fundations. On Thursday we hope to snowshoe again, and on Friday we will enjoy our first Exploratories this year.
