April showers bring May flowers! Please enjoy a few photos from our last couple weeks.

Recently Mrs. Cota and Mrs. Woods read both first grade classes The Squirrel Lulu Clover Clover Blossom . This book helped to educate us about Epilepsy. Together we came up with common language and expectations. The students had thoughtful questions and comments.
Our class also enjoyed the story Beautiful Oops. This book teaches us that a mistake can be something to celebrate and be creative with.

As part of our Disability Awareness and Changing Perspectives learning - The Voyager classes got together to enjoy an animated read -aloud version of this humorous book - Not Your Typical Dragon. Instead of breathing fire like other dragons, this dragon breathes silly things like bubbles and beach balls.

Our weather is slowing beginning to warm up. Please continue to send rain/mud boots with your child as well as a separate pair of clean, dry shoes for our classroom. I hope you all have a wonderful break week.
