Our class had a wonderful experience this week in YOU Skills with Mrs. Nelson. They watched a video called "Are You a Leader". This video was about a girl who was treated unkindly throughout the day. All of the hurtful words "stuck" with her throughout the day. Finally one friend noticed and did something incredible to help her feel loved. Be sure to ask your child all about it. Ask them what they wrote for kind words on their sticky note.
This student is being showered with kindness.
Library was exciting this week too. With Mrs Huestis, our class successfully practiced their listening and focusing skills to solve clues that helped them break into their special Global Read-Aloud box. Inside their box was the first book they are reading for Global Read-Aloud. It is called My Heart Fills with Happiness. and video clue
Special thanks to Mrs. Sumner for providing the 1st clue.
Here are a few "Summer Memory" and "American Symbol" shares.
