Welcome back to the blog. Yesterday was so beautiful. Here are a few photos from the previous two weeks.

During our recent 4-Winds lesson we learned all about Animal Tracks. We are fortunate in Vermont to have an abundant amount of wildlife. Winter is the perfect time to search for tracks.

This month we are working with money. We have played many math games to practice identifying and counting mixed coins.

During Reading Workshop we are reading biographies and learning about many amazing people who have changed the world. Next week students will choose the people they are most interested in learning more about. 

We just completed a unit reading books from a Series. We practiced summarizing the important information from each chapter. 

You Skills is so much fun! We learn many important social skills. Thank you Mrs. Nelson

During Second Step (Social Skills Curriculum) We are learning strategies to try when we have a strong feeling such as anger or anxiety.
