I can't believe the end of the school year is just 3 weeks away. The recent weather changes have been a real tease for summer. Our class is working toward an outside lunch picnic with stuffies. We are very excited to earn enough pennies for this to happen soon. 

We are super scientists. On this day we sorted materials by see through (transparent)  kind of see through (translucent), and not see through (opaque)

In math we have been learning about Emperor and Little Blue penguins. We measured their heights and graphed them compared to an average first grader. Ask your child how tall they these penguins are.
