Read, read, read!We've started learning about magic/silent e. Learning this spelling pattern will be useful for both reading and spelling. Two things to remember: A silent e only makes the vowel long when there is only ONE consonant in-between the vowel and the silent e. Also, e-e is VERY rare in one syllable words. ee and ea are more common spelling options.
