Welcome back! I hope you have been enjoying the beautiful fall days. The construction at CCS is nearly over. The school's exterior looks very nice. Despite the noise and action outside of our classroom windows, we have been very busy learners.
"Free Choice" fun
We made scarecrows to decorate our classroom.
Our narrative stories have been published. We've read them to our classmates and can't wait to share them at home.
Today's math game is called "Make the Sum".
Drop the Beans
Students are working in Literacy Centers while I read with students.
The school construction workers showed us the tools they used on our school.
Science can be so much fun. Here we are experimenting with flashlights to make shadows move. This is what happens when the sun changes it place in the sky throughout the day.
My daughters came for a long weekend from Florida to see the foliage. This is always a treat for us.
