We had a fun Shelburne Farms field trip. We met many farm animals, washed eggs and delivered them to the market, prepped and cooked egg frittata, milked the cow, took a wagon ride and so much more.
Last week we also visited the Charlotte Library. We listened to a read-aloud and had the opportunity to browse and select books to check out.

Our embryology unit has been amazing. Our class really enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a chicken and having an incubator in our classroom.
Hmmm how do these items relate to a chicken?
We are making chicken masks for our School-Wide Morning Meeting.
We observed and illustrated the inside and outside of eggs.
Eggs come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Literacy Time! We are reading big books and reading with partners. We are working on Scholastic News with partners.
We are playing math games with our math partners.
