We learned about the program "How Does Your Engine Run?"
Students learned to identify their energy levels. Our goal is to be in the green "just right" zone.
Next week we will learn strategies for getting back into the green zone if our engines are feeling too slow or too fast.
We are playing the Super Frogs game. The goal is to spin a 2 digit number, add or subtract, and then another 2 digit number to guide you alone a number line that counts by 10s.

This week was Coding Week. Mr. Flint came in to teach us a coding game. Students were able to choose a background and characters. They then chose coding options to move their characters in many ways and directions. Free Choice fun!
We are learning how to use a number line to add and subtract.We listened to Berry Song by Michaela Goade. This book is a celebration of the land and the wisdom of elders.
We are playing another number line game.We are practicing our new trick words. They are the question words.

More wonderful "something I love" shares
We are writing non-fiction teaching books. Each day we have a mini lesson and learn something new that we can add to our writing. We have learned about the importance of out pictures, twin sentences, comparisons, etc.
