Happy New Year! I hope you had an amazing break. 

We have been practicing counting by 10s on and off decade. For example: 10 More and 10 Less than any given number. Also, starting with a number like 7 and continuing the pattern 7, 17, 27, 37... 

During our "Animals in Winter" unit we enjoyed the book Over and Under the Snow. We learned that some animals stay active in the winter, but others migrate or hibernate.
