Welcome back! It's March already.

Here are photos from Spirit Week. This is Crazy Hair or Hat Day.

Mismatch Day
PJ Day!
One of our UMV teachers read us Strickly No Elephants. This is a wonderful book about friendship and belonging.
We have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes.  This is a game called "Last Shape in Wins".

Are these triangles?
Reading Workshop is so much fun! They are really enjoying books alone and with a reading partner.

After listening to the amazing book, The Quiltmaker's Gift, our class created a Kindness Quilt.

We made kindness flags to go with the book, The Invisible Boy
This beautiful book promotes inclusivity and empathy, encouraging children to 'leave no-one behind' in friendship groups and to consider other people's feelings.

We listened to a story about Michael Jordan.

How are these shapes the same? How are they different?
Favorite Animal Shares
Place Value Bingo

We began our newest science unit. Today we sorted Living and Non-Living things. Ms. Deb's dog Stevie was an exciting guest.
Book orders are due Wednesday. Please continue to send students with boots and a change of shoes every day. The playground is often slushy or muddy.
