Brrrrr! It's cold outside, but that hasn't stopped us from keeping busy.
Thank you for sending in veggies for Fluffy. This Thursday we will share popcorn and watch The Tale of Despereaux with Ms. Lubic's class. We are looking for one bag of Skinny Pop for our classroom and 17 juice boxes.
This week during our WIN time, we read the book Just Kidding. This book explains that sometimes our words can hurt others - even if we think or say we are "Just Kidding".

 Healthy relationships make us happy. Our friends treat us kindly and make good choices.

Our Poetry unit is underway. We are using our "Poets' Eyes" to observe objects in a new way.

Have a wonderful break. I look forward to seeing your children in 2017!! My daughters are both home. Ashley is turning 21 on Thursday!! I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time with them before they return to sunny Florida.
