They are all part of a NURSERY RHYME.
This week we started our Nursery Rhyme and Songs Unit. This is the perfect unit to begin with because students can read along in books that have words and rhymes they are familiar with.
We are watching the life cycle of a monarch butterfly. Each student scientist is observing the changes and illustrating their findings in a special booklet.

I hope you are enjoying the Labor Day weekend. I look forward to week 2 with your wonderful children. Please remember to send Home-School folders to school on Tuesday. I am also waiting for a few students to bring in their spare change of clothes in a clear, zip-loc bag. The book order is due back Tuesday. Please email me if you have any questions.
