Literacy Centers: Big Books, Listening Center
The Charlotte Fire Fighters came to CCS to teach us about Fire Safety.
It was great to meet with all of you for our Parent Teacher Conferences. For those of you that requested "Just Right Books", they are going home in book baggies on Monday. Students will also have a Reading Log to fill out when they read. They should read for 10 minutes a night and log just once each day.
Halloween is quickly approaching. Students may wear their costumes to school for our annual costume parade. They will remove costumes following the parade and a small party. We are hoping to have a few "safe for everyone" snacks for the party. I am looking for some type of orange/fruit treat, bagged Skinny Pop popcorn, and juice/cider. Please let me know if you would like to send in one of these items. All items must be dairy and egg free. Thank you.
