This week we are beginning our animal unit. Here are the standards that we will be learning about:

1-LS1-1 From Molecules to Organisms: Structures and Processes Use materials to design a solution to a human problem by mimicking how plants and/or animals use their external parts to help them survive, grow, and meet their needs.*

1-LS1-2 From Molecules to Organisms: Structures and Processes  Read texts and use media to determine patterns in behavior of parents and offspring that help offspring survive. 

1-LS3-1 Heredity: Inheritance and Variation of Traits Make observations to construct an evidence-based account that young plants and animals are like, but not exactly like, their parents.

Thank you for generously donating items to the Thanksgiving Baskets. Send them in at any time that is convenient for you. Our book orders are due. Please send them in soon if you plan to order.
