We are learning about animals in the winter. Some migrate, some hibernate, and others stay active.

We are learning about 2D and 3D shapes. These are shape puzzles that are completed with pattern blocks.Here we are playing Last Shape In Wins.

Today the first grade classes got together for a recess rules roadshow. We discussed the importance of making safe choice during recess. The roadshow will be visiting all of the classrooms.

This will be an exciting day. During Writing Workshop we are are learning about opinion writing. Each student will publish a few opinion books.
